Adam R. Brickley, 25, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on October 25, 2016, at his residence.
He was born in Boston, MA on July 25, 1991, the son of Richard F. and Mary V. (Petow) Brickley. Adam was a graduate of Manchester School of Technology in 2010 and began serving in the US Marine Corp. in August, 2011. He was an entrepreneur, owning and operating his auto restoration, repair and sales business. Restoring cars was his passion.
Adam enjoyed fishing, especially deep sea fishing with his dad. He also enjoyed annual birthday camping trips with his "Irish Twin" Cory and their girlfriends. He was a care free, fun loving young man who would do anything for anyone. He always had an infectious smile that everyone loved and his family, friends and dog Harley meant the world to him. Above all, Adam will be remembered as an amazing and loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and friend.
Family includes Adam's parents, Richard F. and Mary V. (Petow) Brickley of Auburn; two brothers, Cory R. Brickley of Manchester, and Erik J. Brickley of Auburn; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; Terry Brickley of Somersworth, Carol and Artie Marchetta of Belmont, MA, and family, Patricia Petow of Watertown, MA, Eileen Winslow of Belmont, MA, and family, Edward and Irene Petow of Palm Beach, FL, and family, William Brickley of Arlington, MA, and family, and Peggy Perkin of Deland, FL, and family; his significant other, Antigona "Annie" Syla of Manchester; his Marine family; and his many friends.
A funeral service with military honors was held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial followed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Adam's name may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Iopeka, Kansas 66675.
