Hooksett

Adam J. Soares, 27, of Hooksett, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in the ICU at Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on October 24, 1998, to John and Kristine (Therrien) Soares and was the youngest of 2 children. Adam graduated West High School in 2018.

Adam was born with Cerebral Palsy and it affected Adam in a significant way. This however did not define Adam from spreading his loving smile and blinding flash light with everyone who he encountered. Adam was a fighter from the moment he was born and continued to defy all odds throughout his life. The moment he entered a room his smile and laugh was contagious. His love was so grand for his family, friends, and puppies who are lucky enough to know his love. He continues to change every life he has touched with many memories, and stories that we all hold deep in our hearts.

Adam adored watching youtube on his tablet and spending many hours in front of the TV enjoying the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, Nascar, Monster Trucks and Spongebob. Adam was a super fan of the Boston Bruins and anytime he saw anything that resembled them he had to stop in his tracks and share the enjoyment with everyone around him. Adam was a true American Patriot and admired his love for the American Flag and the National Anthem. He always had to have with him his American Flag and flash light to guide the way.

Adam is survived by his parents, Kris and John; his sister Amanda; brother in-law, Brandon; his 2 nieces Brooke and Kadence; his grandmother, Denise; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Norman Therrien; his great grandmother, Stella Therrien; his paternal grandmother, Joan Langevin; and his grandfathers, John J Soares and Wayne Langevin.

The family would love to extend their sincere gratitude to those who helped aid Adam through his time here on earth.

A celebration of life will be held with a private burial in the spring.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the New Hampshire Make A Wish Foundation in Adam’s name, 814 Elm St., Suite 300, Manchester, NH 03101-2230.
