Adela F. (Huss) Yergeau, 87, of Manchester, died February 25, 2017 at her home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on July 9, 1929 to Frank and Hermina (Sobczyk) Huss. She graduated from West High School in 1946 and lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Adela worked at the 7-20-4 Cigar Factory, Myrna Shoe Company, J.F. McElwain Shoe Company and Allen-Bradley all in Manchester for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Paul E. Yergeau in 1994 and a sister, Wanda Rusin.
The family includes two children, Kenneth Yergeau and his fiancé, Gayle Driscoll, of Merrimack and Tracey Wendell and her husband, Harry, of North Carolina; two grandsons, Matthew Yergeau and Anthony Yergeau and his wife, Lee; three great grandchildren, Sophie, Michael and Cora Yergeau; a former daughter-in-law, Carol Yergeau of Milford; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Goffstown Road, Goffstown.
