Adele was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, in Pawtucket RI and, later in 1968, moved to Manchester. During her husband's illness in 1969, Adele received instruction and became one of the first certified kidney dialysis technicians, allowing her to help her husband at home.
Her family and grandchildren meant everything to her. She enjoyed traveling any time she could get away. The Caribbean was a favorite of hers. She enjoyed hockey east hockey games especially UNH hockey games.
Family members include 5 sons; Raymond L. Chenette, Midlothian VA, Dr. Ronald Chenette, of Bethesda MD, Peter P. Chenette, of Nashua, Paul J. Chenette, of Hooksett, David M. Chenette, of Bedford; 10 grandchildren; several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday November 10, 2007 in St. Catherine Church, Webster St. Manchester.
Burial took place at the convenience of the family in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket RI.
