She was born in Manchester on May 7, 1947 to Albert and Rita (Isabelle) Gagnon. She lived in Auburn and Manchester for many years.
Adelina worked at Modutec in Manchester and as a licensed nurse assistant at several Manchester area nursing homes.
She enjoyed traveling to Virginia, Las Vegas and Washington, DC. She will be remembered for her strong will and feistiness.
The family includes four children, Linda Scott, Richard Sylvia Jr. and his companion, Stephanie Berard, and Bob Sylvia and his wife, Judyann, all of Manchester and John Sylvia and his wife Kristy, of Hooksett; 12 grandchildren, Crystal, Stephanie, Ryan, Patrick, Corey, Megan, Cassandra, Caitlyn, Crystal, Chase, C.J. and Cali; three great grandchildren, Haley, MacKenzie and Melody; five siblings, Edward Gagnon of Manchester, Edwina Gagnon of Virginia, Irene Lemay of Merrimack, Antonio Gagnon of Candia and Julie Veitch of Manchester; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Pauline Witham.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Pius X Church, Candia Road, Manchester. After cremation, burial will be at St. Augustin Cemetery in Manchester at the convenience of the family.
