Sister Agatha St. Pierre, (Sr. St. Mildred), 96, of the Sisters of Presentation of Mary, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, died December 4, 2001, at the St. Joseph Residence after a lengthy illness.
Born December 29, 1904, in Island Pond, Vt., she was the daughter of George and Ada (Cabana) St. Pierre.
In 1929, she entered the Order of the Sisters of Presentation of Mary and made her first profession of vows. She made her final profession in 1934.
Sister St. Pierre pursued her studies at Gray's Business College, Portland Me, Catholic Teacher's College, Providence, R.I., and Rivier College, Nashua, NH, where she received a Bachelor of Education degree.
She taught at Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH, Sacred Heart School in Manchester, NH, and Presentation of Mary School in Drummondville, Quebec. In 1941, she was one of the founders of Notre Dame High School in Berlin, NH, where she taught in the business department for 29 years.
During her tenure at Rivier College (1970-1989), she served as data recorder, clerk receptionist, and secretary to the alumni association.
She retired at Presentation of Mary in Hudson in 1989, and was transferred to St. Joseph Residence, in Manchester, in 1996.
Family members include a sister, Louise Applebee of Island Pond, Vt.; and one niece.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated December 6, 2001 in the Resurrection Chapel. Burial followed in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
