She was born in Manchester on December 20, 1931 to Arsene and Annette (Bouffard) Abeels. She graduated from St. George High School and remained in contact with many of her classmates over these many years. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Mrs. Beaulieu worked at Nault's Honda / Mercedes auto dealership, Notre Dame College and Auclair Transportation, all in Manchester. She had volunteered at the Palace Theater and enjoyed traveling and time spent with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Real Beaulieu who died in 2001 and by a brother, Robert Desrochers.
The family includes four children, Judy Beaulieu Bergeron, Philip R. Beaulieu and Susan P. Bigg and her husband, Patrick, all of Hooksett, and Alan F. Beaulieu and his wife, Tammy, of Manchester; nine grandchildren, Jeanne Brooks, Evan Bergeron, Ian Bergeron, Jezra Beaulieu, Samantha Bigg, Ryan Bigg, Greg Beaulieu, Spencer Beaulieu and Carissa McDonald; two brothers, Jerry Desrochers and his wife, Cecile, and Paul Huard and his wife, Kathy; a sister in law, Pauline Desrochers; a half brother, Austin Abeels and his wife, Pauline; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony took place on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH.
