Agnes Selma Victoria Osberg Fischer (Gram) of Manchester died November 19, 2006, surrounded by her family and care givers at Bel-Air Home after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
"Gram" was born in Dunbarton, NH on April 20, 1913 and was the daughter of Sven and Augusta (Johnson) Osberg.
She was educated in a one room school house in Dunbarton, NH and graduated from Central High School. She worked for more than 20 years at Bell Telephone and enjoyed summers at the family camp on Deering Lake. She was a lifelong member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church where she was an active member of the Mary Martha Unit organizing many church fairs, rummage sales, and meatball suppers.
She is the wife of the late Edwin E. Fischer and is survived by her children, Carl & Susan Fischer of Goffstown, NH; Jane Fischer of Endicott, NY; a sister, Vivian Testsilas of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren, Robert Fischer, Amy Colby, Todd Fischer, and Sarah Sereno; six great grandchildren, Liam, Sam, Ben, Aubrey, Reagan, and Edie; and several nieces & nephews.
Her grandchildren and her great grandchildren were her most cherished joys in life and she has left them with many memories and traditions to carry on to the next generation. She will always be remembered for her patience, kindness, and unconditional love.
Funeral services were celebrated Wednesday November 22, 2006 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 65 Sagamore St., Manchester, NH
