Alan W. Piper, 55, of Colebrook died August 22, 2002 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in East Derry on May 11, 1947, he was the son of Leonel "Pikey" and Priscilla (Tewksbury) Piper. He lived in Derry most of his life and in Colebrook for 15 years.
Mr. Piper worked at Dotce Trucking Company in Colebrook. Prior to that he worked at The Balsams in Dixville Notch.
He was a member of the Mohawk Grange in East Colebrook.
The family includes his wife, Suzanne (Grenier) Piper of Colebrook; three children, Priscilla Kinville, Alan W. Piper Jr. and Angela Piper-Silver all of Nashua; six grandchildren; his father of Pittsburg, a brother, George L. Piper of Pottsboro, TX; a sister, Allura Becker of Derry; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was Sunday August 25, 2002 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Rev. James McMillan of Southside Bible Fellowship, Manchester did officiate.
