Alan H. Yeaton, 79, of Goffstown, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on November 30, 1945 in Portsmouth to the late Herbert and Arlene (Tucker) Yeaton.
Alan honorably served in the U.S. Army. He received his bachelors at the University of Arizona and opened his own company called Amoskeag Architect Group. After 50 years as an architect, he semi-retired, but continued to help when he could. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and loved blueberry picking anywhere he would go. His true passion was fly fishing, hunting, helping fellow veterans in need and serving his community. One of his greatest accomplishments was helping a non-profit called The Way Home that assisted low-income households attain safe and affordable housing. Alan was also active in the Manchester and Goffstown Rotary Club for many years and served on the board of trustees for Bowman Place in Bedford.
Alan is survived by his beloved wife: Carol (St. Hilaire) Yeaton; his four children: Christopher Yeaton and his wife Jennifer, Christina “Tina” Yeaton, Travis Yeaton, Trevor Yeaton; his two siblings: Leigh DeRochemont, Norman Yeaton and his wife Beth; his four grandchildren: Kara, Adam, Finneas and Leonardo “Leo”; and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday (9/29) at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester from 3pm – 4:45pm. Military honors will take place in the funeral home at 4:45pm followed by a prayer service at 5pm. There will be no burial.
