Albert Byrnes
June 22, 1911 — January 12, 2003
Albert Byrnes, 91, a resident of the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, died January 12, 2003, at Franklin Regional Hospital.
Born in Derry, June 22, 1911, he was a son of Thomas and Zneaide (Thevido) Byrnes. He lived most of his life in Manchester.
He worked for Dorson and Fleisher Shoe Co. for many years.
Mr. Byrnes was an army veteran of World War II.
He was married to Eveline (Poitras) Byrnes, who died in 1976.
Family members include 2 sons, John A. Byrnes, and Robert Byrnes, both of Manchester; 2 daughters, Jeannette Byrnes-O'Brion of Hermiston, Oregon, and Therese Turner of Atwater, CA; 2 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral was Thursday January 16, 2003 in the funeral home. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NH Veterans Home, Recreation Department, PO Box 229, Tilton, NH 03276.
