Albert J. Houle, 59, of Manchester, died October 14, 2008, surrounded by his family, following a long illness.

He was born in Manchester, the son of Raymond and Rita (Gentes) Houle and had resided in Manchester all of his life.

He was educated in local schools and after graduating he entered the United States Marine Corps. He later worked 39 years as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office.

Albert was a member of the League of a 1000 men of the Precious Blood Monastery.

In His life: He leaves his wife of 35 years, Cecile (Desmarais) Houle of Manchester; two daughters, Nicole Houle and Irene Nikias; a son-in-law, Christopher; granddaughters, Allie and Kayla Nikias; five brothers, Raymond Houle, Daniel Houle, Roland Houle, Roger Houle, and Robert Houle; three sisters, Carmel Chrzaszcz, Rita Fichera, Dianne Matarazzo; his mother in- law, Doris Desmarais. He was predeceased by his father and a brother, Armand Houle.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, October 17, 2008 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meeting House Rd. Bedford NH. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum 474 Goffstown Rd., Manhchester.
