Albert F. Laliberte

September 24, 1955 — December 21, 2022

Albert F. Laliberte, 67, of Hooksett, died December 21, 2022, at Elliot Hospital, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manchester on September 24, 1955, he was the son of the late Henri J. and Gilberte N. (Desmarias) Laliberte.  He was a graduate of West High School, where he was the goalie for the hockey team, which won the state championship in 1973.  He was a self employed carpenter during his lifetime and an extremely hard worker.

Albert loved his family.  He was so very proud of his children and their accomplishments, and his grandchildren brought him so much happiness.  His passion for carpentry lead him to building their family home.  Albert also loved traveling. He enjoyed family time in Florida where he and his wife were able to retire for a few years before moving back to NH to be closer to family. He loved his trips with his son to Las Vegas for UFC fights.  He was a true “foodie” and Sundays at The Devine’s were always a great time. Creating memories with his family was always his priority, summers in Maine and numerous family vacations all over. He always had an open door policy for bbq and bonfires, as long as his family and friends were together.  Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Albert was predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Tracy A. (Devine) Laliberte, in 2020.

Surviving family members include his two children, Carly A. Cohen and husband Riley of Auburn and Kevin A. Laliberte of Manchester; two grandchildren, Everett A. Cohen and Vayda J. Cohen; four siblings, Hank Laliberte and spouse Michael Russell, Claudette Laliberte and spouse Stacy Moore, Muriel Wesley, and Marc Laliberte and wife Elly; and several nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by both parents; and one brother, Ronald Laliberte.
