He was born in Manchester on March 25, 1930, the son of Albert and Beatrice (Simoneau) Langley Sr. He was educated in the local school system and was a lifelong resident of the city.
He was a US Army veteran serving from 1951 to 1953. Prior to retirement in 1994, he had been employed with Nashua Motor Express for 32 years.
Family members include his wife of 52 years, Monica (Dery) Langley of Manchester; one daughter, Margaret Stevens of Litchfield; two sons, Alan Langley and his wife Debbie of Manchester, and Donald Langley of Cape Canaveral, FL; seven grandchildren, Teri, Nicholas, Albert, Jessica, Amy, Donald, and Jocelyn; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Swanson of Allenstown, Dorothy Langley and Carol Zorawowicz, both of Goffstown; one brother, David Langley of Manchester; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A prayer service was held in the funeral home on Thursday October 11, 2007.
