She was born in Gardner, MA March 2, 1926 to Theodore and Philomene Cormier.
She entered the Order of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, NH in 1941, made her First Profession in 1944 and her Final Profession in 1949.
She was assigned to community dining services from 1944 until 1990 at Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, Rivier College in Nashua and St. Marie Residence in Manchester. She also served in Rhode Island.
In 1990 she was assigned as local superior at St. Joseph Residence in Manchester and in 1994 at St. Vincent de Paul in Coventry, R.I. She also served at the House of Prayer in New Ipswich, NH.
She was an excellent cook and participated in many of the culinary workshops at Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA
Family members include two sisters, Corinne Cormier and Gerenne Jalbert, both of Gardner, MA; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in the Resurrection Chapel. Burial followed in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
