Alexis F. Daniuk, 76, of Manchester, NH.
The world lost a beloved wife, mother and friend, Alexis Daniuk. Alexis passed away surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on February 21, 2022.
Born in Sacramento, CA on June 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Alice (Murphy) Vasil. She was raised and educated in Roslindale, MA. She graduated from St. Gregory's High School then attended Fisher College. Alexis spent her life giving back to the community. For 25 years she was a family outreach worker, then later spent many years as chief baker at her daughter's business Moo's Place Homemade Ice Cream.
Alexis was a very vivacious and fashionable person. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, soduko, entertaining and gardening. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Surviving family members include her husband and soul mate of 40 years, Anthony P. Botticello of Manchester; two daughters, Christen LaRocca and husband Steven of Hampstead, and Shannon Rondeau and husband Michael of Antrim; one stepson, Chul Botticello and wife Michelle of Gloucester, VA; three grandchildren, Jeremy Daniuk and wife Justyna of Chicago, Caitlin Rollo and husband Michael of Hopkinton, and Angela Jordan and husband Mark of Alabama; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth Rollo and Dahlia Daniuk; one brother, James Vasil and wife Jeanne of Wilmington, NC; one brother-in-law, Peter Gwynne of Hyannis, MA; one godson, Shawn Gwynne of Centerville, MA; two cousins, Alfred Cataldo and Deborah Kearns; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents; her sister, Joanne Gwynne, and her stepson, Timmy Botticello.
SERVICES: A visitation, with masks, will be from 2 pm to 5 pm on Sunday at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104.
