Born in Manchester, May 17, 1924, he was the son of Emanuel and Blanche (Cote) Gagnon.
In 1989 he retired from the Felton Brush Company after 46 years of service. Mr. Gagnon was a veteran of the United States Army Office of Strategic Service during World War II. He served in Europe, Africa and China with the "Fearless Fifteen." He was highly decorated, and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Sweeney Post, and a member of the former St. John the Baptist Parish.
He will be remembered for his love of family, animals and the outdoors.
He was predeceased by his wife Angela (DeSchuiteneer) Gagnon; two sisters Lillian Belanger and Ann Jaskolka; and a brother Wilfred Gagnon
Family members include 2 daughters; Diane Saucier of Goffstown, and Donna Sheatler of Bedford; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Omer Gagnon, of Hooksett; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Liturgy was held Saturday November 12, 2005 in the funeral home.
Burial took place in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
