Alfred J. Paris, 84, of Concord died June 18, 2018 at the Concord Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Goffstown on August 29, 1933, he was the son of Lionel and Bernadette (Provencher) Paris.
After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the US Navy. He served over 9 years in the Navy, on board the USS New Port News, USS Abbot, and USS Benham prior to finishing his duty at the US Naval Station in Washington, DC.
Alfred retired from a 45 year career with the Glazers Union, Local 1044.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, whether Sunday car rides or enjoying family time.
Family members include his loving wife of 60 years, Hazel (Tatro) Paris of Concord; his children, Diane Talbot and husband Shaun of Concord, Alain Paris and wife April of Manchester; his grandchildren, Mathew Paris of Weare, Jonathan Talbot and wife Sara of Nashua, Nicholas and Parker Paris of Manchester; his great-granddaughter, Avalee Paris of Manchester; many extended family members. He was predeceased by two sons, Brian and Marc Paris.
A graveside committal service with military honors was celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road.
