Alice M. Belanger

Alice M. (Simoneau) Belanger, 95, of Manchester, died November 2, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, June 30, 1907, she was the daughter of Jeremie and Laura (Paquette) Simoneau. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

Mrs. Belanger retired in 1973 after working many years in both the shoe industry and the clothing industry.

She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis of St. Augustin Parish. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary and the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima.

She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.

She was very devoted to her family.

She had been married to William J. Belanger, who died in 1983.

Family members include a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Violette) Bournival of Manchester; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Estelle Lessard of Manchester, and Claire Boucher of Nashua; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday from 3 to 7 pm in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am in St. Anthony Church.

Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
