She was born in Manchester on September 18, 1911, the daughter of Cyrenus and Rosalie (Landry) Bergeron. She was educated in the Manchester school system. After raising their family, she and her husband had moved to Florida 30 years ago.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a retail clerk for many years.
Alice loved to play and excelled at card games, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Elphege T. Duval in 1988.
Members of her family include two daughters, Lorraine Morse and her husband Richard of Ogunquit, ME, Janine Mailhiot and her husband Roger of NH and AZ; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Germaine Raiche of Manchester; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Augustin Church on Friday, June 13, 2008. Urn burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
