Alice M. Michaud

She was born in Manchester, NH on September 27, 1928, the daughter of John and Mary (Campbell) McCue. She was a Manchester resident for more than 40 years and attended the University of New Hampshire.

After moving to the Hartford area, she was an insurance executive (one of the first woman vice presidents in the industry) before she retired and moved to Port Charlotte.

Alice will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family.

Alice belonged to the Moose Lodge 2121 in Port Charlotte, FL, loved to travel, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed being with her friends and family.

Family members include her sons Robert Michaud and his wife Norma of Kissimmee, FL, David Michaud and wife Kathy of Austin, TX, James Michaud of Ellington, CT, and Jeffrey Michaud of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Melissa Noone, Allison Holbrook and Derrick Michaud; her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Leigha Bradley, Michael and Ryan Noone, Trey Holmes, Chloe and Hayley Holbrook, Darby, Conner, and Ryan Michaud.

The funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St, Bedford, NH.
