She was born in Manchester on November 27, 1927 to William and Dora (O'Dowd) Howe. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She worked at several Manchester area shoe companies and for the U.S. Postal Service for many years.
Alice enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, dining out and time spent with her family. She will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She was married to Roger W. Pinard who died in 1976.
The family includes two sons, Roger "Mick" Pinard and his wife, Susan, of Pembroke and William Pinard and his wife, Krista, of Manchester; five grandchildren, Krystal, Ryan and Meghan Pinard, and Benjamin and Kayla Pinard; five great grandchildren; seven siblings, Dora Monnelly, Norma Begley, William Howe and his wife, Gertrude, and Michael Howe all of Manchester, Gail Bean and her husband, Arthur, of Deerfield, Carol Fernandes and her husband, Edward of Manchester and Thomas Howe and his wife, Doris, of Goffstown; a longtime companion, David Nore of Worcester, MA; one aunt, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the chapel at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
