Born in Manchester, September 18, 1918, she was the daughter of Alfred and Lumina (Gelinas) Angers. She entered the Congregation in Canada in 1937, made her First Profession in 1940 and her Final Profession in 1945.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Science from Rivier College in Nashua and her Master's degree in Biology at Catholic University in Washington D.C.
She taught in parochial elementary schools in Manchester at St. Marie, Sacred Heart and at West Side Catholic. She also taught science at Notre Dame Academy in Berlin, NH, and at Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH. She served as principal at the Academy and at St. Joseph in Woonsocket, R.I. She joined the Rivier College staff in 1961 as an aide in the Biology Department.
Sister Aliette was Director of Studies for the Sisters in the Diocese of Manchester. She also served as Local Superior and Provincial Councilor.
She retired at the Marie Rivier Community in Hudson and was transferred to the St. Joseph Residence in 2002.
Family members include several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday April 23, 2008 in the Resurrection Chapel. Burial was in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., was in charge of arrangements.
