Aline V. Bisson, 89 of Manchester, passed on to eternal life on Saturday, October 18,2025, surrounded by her loving family, in a peaceful setting with a cardinal singing and church bells ringing outside of her room.
Aline was born in her family's home in Manchester, NH on February 4, 1936, to parents Ovilda and Rose (Farland) Jalbert. She later lived in a home across the street from where she was born until she married Adrian A.Bisson in July of 1957. They were married for over 50 years. Together they raised a family and enjoyed many years with large family gatherings, trips to Florida, fishing adventures, camping, and the simplicity of day-to-day life in the 1960's and 70's. She was a Christian and always remained strong in her faith.
Over the years, Aline always prioritized and enjoyed spending time with family and watched her family grow to include cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In more recent years, she tended to her flower gardens, baked cookies for friends and neighbors, worked on word search puzzles, and enjoyed picnics at Great Island Common in Newcastle.
A special memory of ours was celebrating her 82nd birthday at the Mountain View Grand in Whitefield, NH. Aline spent many days traveling through the White Mountains with Adrian and their daughters, finding joy in nature and the quiet solitude of New Hampshire. She will be in our hearts forever and will be remembered as being kind and generous to all.
Aline is survived by her daughters, Linda Houghton and Pamela MacDonald, and their spouses, Larry and Bill, her granddaughters, Kara, Shannon, Lauren, and Eliza, great-grandchildren, Vivian, Adrian, and Lucien, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved her dearly and enjoyed spending precious time with her. She is also survived by her longtime friend and companion Bob who cherished her every day for over 10 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Adrian, her parents, brother Lucien, and stepsister Madeleine.
"Otherwise than that" ….. she told us not to cry, and to be happy
We will be watching for the rabbits….
