Andre A. Lussier, Sr., 83, of Manchester, died October 9, 2005, at the Concord Hospice House after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, October 28, 1921, he was the son of Joseph and Ida (Lalanne) Lussier. He lived most of his life in Manchester.
Mr. Lussier retired in 1983 from Felton Brush Co., where he worked for 27 years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood.
He was married to Violette (Cote) Lussier, who died in 2000.
He was very devoted to his family and was an avid Red Sox fan.
He leaves three daughters, Madeleine Little, of Alta Loma, CA, Gisele Emerson, of Bow, and Jeannette Murray, of Bedford; a son, Andre A. Lussier, Jr., of Raymond; 5 grandchildren, Cynthia Lucero, Steven Wantuck, Natasha Lussier, Joseph Murray and Kimberly Murray; a great granddaughter, Sophia Lucero; a sister, Juliette Cote of California; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday October 13, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
