Andrew K. Brown

d. November 23, 2014

Andrew Kenneth Brown passed away unexpectedly of heart failure on November 23, 2014. Born and raised in New Hampshire, he took full advantage of all four seasons that New Hampshire had to offer. Andy was an avid outdoorsman. In the fall, he could be found walking the woods of Bradford with his father, two brothers and dear friend for deer, wild turkey or partridge. Whatever the season, he knew the opening day and planned his schedule accordingly. Winter brought snowmobiling and skiing with his entire family. And once the snow began to melt, Andy would spend his weekends tapping the maple trees in his family's sugar bush, which he has spent the last 4 years bringing back to life. Then of course, summer brought epic multi day canoe trips on the Merrimack and Connecticut Rivers.

Andy followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps to become an attorney in 2006. He then went on to earn his master's in estate planning, to become a well accomplished attorney. He enjoyed his job and loved working with people.

Most of all though, Andy will be remembered for his extraordinarily large and loving heart and for his kind soul. He was always there for his friends and family without question.

Andy leaves behind his parents, Diane and Hon. Kenneth Brown; sister, Sarah Brown Davidson and her husband Carter Davidson; brothers, Jeffrey Brown and his wife Sara Brown, and Stephen Brown and his fiancee Elinor McCandless; two nephews, Miles Davidson and Hollis Brown; his niece, and goddaughter, Adeline Davidson; his nana, Joan Churas; his wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and a vibrant extended family; and lifelong friend, Ken Olson, his wife Tobyn, and family; and so many very wonderful friends. He has been reunited with his grandparents, Frank Churas, and Stanley, and Thalia Brown.

A small burial service for family and close friends was held at the family cottage in Bradford, NH on Saturday November 29, 2014 followed by a gathering at the Appleseed Restaurant.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to New Horizons for New Hampshire, 199 Manchester St., Manchester, NH 03103 and to MooreMart (www.mooremart.org) PO Box 1604 Nashua, NH 03061.
