Andrew J. Fletcher, 50, of New Boston, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Manchester on November 9, 1975 and grew up in Hooksett. He was a graduate of Manchester High School Central, class of 1994. After high school, Andy completed trade school and became an electrician and worked for Ayer Electric. He was a proud member of the IBEW local #490 Concord, NH. Later, with a business partner, he owned and operated FM Electric. He went on to work in controls at Basix Automation Integrators and most recently, as a Controls Manager for Eckhardt & Johnson.
In his free time, he loved to ride his Harley with his wife and walk their dogs through the wooded trails of New Boston and Clough State Park. An avid Van Halen fan and guitar enthusiast, he enjoyed playing music with his brother and they would spend countless hours jamming in his garage with friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his nephew, Nick. His nieces and nephew were everything to him, and he was sure to never miss an opportunity to celebrate each of them throughout the important events of their lives. Andy had a gift of humor that drew people in effortlessly, making him a constant source of joy to all who knew him. He was a proud and patriotic American with a great appreciation for his country.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Kelly (Olson) Fletcher; mother-in-law Diana Normand of Fergus, Ontario; his older brother Matthew Fletcher of Manchester; his younger sister, Kristin Blais and her husband Stephen, of Bedford; Sister-in law, Kerry Samson of Manchester; niece Brianna Musgrave and her husband Matthew of Goffstown; niece Madison-Skye Caulder of New Boston; niece Mickaela-Rae Beauchamp of Manchester; nephew Nicholas Blais; niece Alyson Blais, both of Bedford; two great nieces, Mila and Hallie Musgrave; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved mother Barbara Paire Fletcher in 2002 and his niece Shelby Samson in 2015.
Calling hours will be held at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street Manchester, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford, Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
