Andrew J. Henderson, 67, of Wilton, died unexpectedly at his home on August 1, 2021, just one day prior to him and his wife moving to the Cape.
Born in on September 2, 1953 in Covina, CA, he was the son of the late Daniel and Joyce (Becker), Henderson, Jr. He was a graduate of Northview High School in Covina, CA. He worked for Nashua Industrial Machine as a machinist for 25 years before their closing, then at Bishop Guertin High School for 4 years, followed by working for Monadnock Springs Water for 15 years before retiring in September of 2020.
Most important in Andrew's life was his family whom he loved dearly. Andrew had a strong work ethic. He was passionate about gardening and would spend endless hours in his yard. He also dedicated much of his time to scrapping and salvaging, believing that if something had a purpose, it needed to be repurposed. He enjoyed maple sugaring and motorcycle touring as well. Andrew was seemingly a little rough around the edges but had a heart of gold. He was also very frugal, but was always willing to help anyone in need. His grandchildren will miss his Donald Duck talk that he so often entertained them, and all children that he encountered, with. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Surviving family members include his beloved wife of 45 years, Patricia A. (Levesque) Henderson of Wilton NH and most recently of S. Dennis, MA; three daughters, Crystal A. Payne and husband Stephen of Plymouth, MA, Stephanie J. Durfee and husband Phillip of Dennis, MA, and Kyla M. Theriault of Bangor, ME and her husband Brent; six grandchildren, Aiden Brewster, Paulina and Calvin Payne, Conner and Joyce Durfee, and Xavier Theriault; two sisters, Kathleen and Annie Henderson; four brothers, Daniel Henderson III and Thomas, John and Christopher Henderson; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both parents; one sister, Jostelle Henderson; and four brothers, Frank, Peter, Robert and Patrick Henderson.
