She was born on July 12, 1928 in Manchester, the daughter of Ephrem and Elianne (Prince) Horion. She was educated in the local parochial school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a librarian and teacher's aid specializing in reading with the Manchester School District.
Angele was proud of her Franco-American heritage and volunteered much of her time at the American-Canadian Genealogical Society as well as the CMC. She loved visiting local nursing homes as a friendly visitor and also loved visiting the beach. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. She will be greatly missed.
Family members include her husband of 62 years, Robert A. Levesque of Manchester; one son, Donald Levesque and his wife JoAnn of Philadelphia, PA; three daughters, Constance Compagna of Manchester, Elaine Emery and her husband Michael of Charlotte, NC, Collette Fordham and husband Gerald of Los Alamos, NM; grandchildren, Christine, Brendan, Colin, Aaron, Hannah, Kara, Evan, and Julia; great-grandsons, Owen, Bryce, Reid, and Lucas; one brother, Sylvio Horion; three sisters, Lorraine St. Onge, Claire Remillard, and Adrienne Mohammad; many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Roger Compagna.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 21, 2011 in St. Marie Church. Interment will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
