Angus MacIntyre

Angus "Angie" MacIntyre, 77, of Auburn, died April 29, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health,

He was born in Newport, NH February 15, 1933 to John and Dorothy (Whitney) MacIntyre. He lived in Derry, NH for a time, then Bradford, NH and had been a resident of Auburn the past 44 years.

He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. MacIntyre worked 30 years as a construction foreman for N. E. Telephone Co. then Verizon.

He was a mason and a member of St. Peters Lodge 31 in Bradford. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge 146 and a member of the American Legion.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Joanne (Cragin) MacIntyre of Auburn; two children, James J. MacIntyre and his wife, Cathy, of Auburn and Judith H. Paris and her husband, Donald, of Auburn; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Ryan and Kasey Kelliher, Adam, James and Kelley Paris; nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held Monday, May 3, 2010 in the funeral home. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Auburn, NH
