Anita S. Bergeron

Anita S. Bergeron, 43, of Goffstown, died August 5, 2006.

She was born in Manchester, July 1, 1963, and was the daughter of Raymond and Shirley (Mayberry) Brien. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from New England College in 1985 and was an All-American basketball and field hockey player. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.

At the time of her death she was employed by the US Postal Service as a letter carrier. She was a member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association.

She loved sailing, golf, tennis, and the beach. She also loved gardening and especially taking care of the elderly.

Family members include her husband of 14 years, Richard R. Bergeron of Goffstown; her parents of Tombstone, AZ; three step sons, Craig Bergeron of Manchester, Curtis Bergeron of Hooksett, and Cory Bergeron of Northwood; two sisters, Cheryl Hislop of Texas, and Eileen Rudkin of Sierra Vista, AZ; a brother, Richard Brien of Goffstown; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held Monday August 14, 2006 in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.E. College Scholarship Fund, 7 Main St., Henniker, NH 03242.
