Anita M. Guimond

Born in Manchester on January 17, 1920, she was the daughter of Onil and Leonie (Beaudet) Bourgeois. She was educated in the local schools.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Pandora. Previously, she had worked for J.F. McElwain Shoe Company for many years.

Anita will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who enjoyed bowling, playing cards and spending time with her friends in the Hooksettites and at the Cashin Senior Center.

She was predeceased by her husband Andrew J. "Sam" Guimond in 2002 and her grandson Brian Guimond in 2000.

Family members include two sons, Ernest Guimond and wife Ellen of Manchester, Robert Guimond and wife Janice of Lynnfield, MA; three grandchildren, Nicole Yalamanchili, Brad and Justin Guimond; two great-grandchildren, Eric and Corin Guimond; one brother, Edgar Bourgeois of Bedford; nephews and nieces.

A funeral liturgy took place on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
