Anita L. Sullivan

She was born in Manchester on August 15, 1918, the daughter of Emmanuel and Eva (Lalumiere) Cousineau. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester West High School.

Anita loved the outdoors and spending time at the beach. She was an avid reader and dancer, who also enjoyed singing with her sister Simone Battistelli. Above all else, she loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Attorney James B. Sullivan in 1980, her infant daughter, Carolyn Sullivan, her infant grandson Nolan Connors, her sister Jeannette Cousineau, and her step-father, Frank Campers.

Family members include her children, Donna Simonne Sullivan Bass and her late husband Michael D. Bass of Rockville, MD, Dr. Stephen Gene Sullivan and his wife Dr. Ann Marie Sullivan of New York, NY, Christine Anne Sullivan of Gurnee, IL, Lenore Margaret Sullivan and her husband Barry N. Henry of Dallas, TX, Alison Miriam Sullivan Lozeau and her husband Joseph B. Lozeau of Uxbridge, MA; her grandchildren, Lindsay Bass of Rockville, MD, James Bass and his wife Melissa of Los Angeles, CA, Elizabeth Sullivan of Brookline, MA, Christine Metlen and her husband Joel of New York, NY, Brandon Henry and his wife Jessie of Bethesda, MD, Hunter Henry and his wife Kate of Dallas, TX, Campbell Henry and his wife Meagan of Dallas, TX, Meghan Connors, Ethan Connors, Micaela Connors, James Connors, and Melissa Lozeau, all of Uxbridge, MA; her sister Simone Battistelli of Manchester, NH; two great-grandchildren and one expected great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, on the corner of Webster and Hemlock Streets, Manchester, NH.
