Ann Castrogiovanni

December 23, 1929 — January 25, 2005

Ann Castrogiovanni, 75, of Hooksett, NH, died January 25, 2005, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, after a long illness.

She was born in Staten Island, NY, on December 23, 1929, and was the daughter of Antonio and Beatrice (Zassa) Romano. She had been living in Hooksett since 1965, and was a member of St. Catherine Parish.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Jordan Marsh Co. for 25 years.

Ann loved gardening and walking everyday. She was a die-hard Yankee fan, and volunteered at the Elliot Hospital.

She was a member of Southern New Hampshire University for Seniors, school of lifelong learning.

Ann was a kind and loving mother and grandmother.

Family members include 2 daughters, Marianne Hart, of Merrimack and Linda Cullen, of South Carolina; a son Nicholas Castrogiovanni of Manchester; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson of Manchester, Nicholas Castrogiovanni Jr. of Candia, Dustin Bello of Manchester, Patrick Castrogiovanni of Candia, Taylor Lessard of Manchester, Dennis Hart of Merrimack, Marissa Cullen, Megan Cullen, Erika Cullen, Ryan Cullen, and Aaron Cullen all of South Carolina; 3 sisters, Gaye Nastasi, of Boyton Beach, FL, Connie Balzano of River Head, NY; Josephine Arpino, of Howard Beach, NY; several nieces nephews and cousins. She also leaves a daughter in law, Joni Castrogiovanni; two sons-in laws, Dennis Hart, and Scott Cullen of North Babylon NY.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank Castrogiovanni on March 24, 1994, and by her sister Antoinette Voytovich on May 27, 2001.

Her family was the center of her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday January 29, 2005 in St. Catherine Church Webster St. Manchester.

Encryptment was in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
