She was born in Swampscott, MA, August 18, 1931 ,and was the only child of Albert and Ann Vance Enholm.
She attended high school in Swampscott , and later the Burdette Business School. Following graduation, she worked for a short time as a secretary until she met her husband John David Sheridan. Many of her younger years before children, were spent taking the train to North Conway, to ski on weekends with friends and sailing in Marblehead, Mass.
Ann will be remembered as a great mother, daughter, wife and homemaker. All her life was dedicated to her children and her husband and their endeavors. Known as a lover of sports and the outdoors, she spent many days driving her kids to games, camping and fishing in the White Mountains and downhill skiing all over the east coast. She volunteered at her children's schools, created and maintained a beautiful home for her family and was a caregiver to her mother for over 10 years. Ann was beautiful, always good natured, loved by all that knew her and was happily married for 53 years.
IN HER LIFE: Family members include her husband, John D. Sheridan of Manchester; a daughter, Kristin Devin and her husband Steve of WA; 2 sons, John D. "Chip" Sheridan Jr.,of Manchester, Patrick Sheridan and Lynda of Lyndeborough; four grandchildren Matt, Kristen, Jamie and Willie.
A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH on Thursday,February 3, 2011.
Burial was at the convenience of the family.
