Anna "Honey" (Ameen) Deschuiteneer, 91, of Manchester, died October 17, 2016 at Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.
She was born in Nashua on January 8, 1925 to Massoud and Mary (Mansour) Ameen. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1942A. She lived in Manchester for most of her life and had wintered in Florida for many years.
Anna worked for several local financial institutions, then at Griffin Travel for many years where she traveled extensively. She was a member of the American Legion Jutras Post 43 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert J. Deschuiteneer and four siblings, Bernadette Ganem, Fred Ameen, Evelyn Pelletier and Alice Peters.
The family includes several nieces and nephews, including her caretaker, William Ganem.
The funeral was held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Our Lady of the Cedars Church, corner of Calef Road and Mitchell Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester.
