Anna M. Gamache, 92, of 519 Bridge St., died October 31, 2002, at St. Teresa Health Care Center, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Portsmouth, February 18, 1910, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mabel (Whaley) Brisson. She lived many years in the Portsmouth Kittery area, and had been a resident of Manchester since 1988.
She was married to Napoleon Gamache, who died in 1986.
Mrs. Gamache worked in food service at the Portsmouth Navy Yard for many years.
She was a communicant of St. George Church.
Family members include a son, Ernest Ball of Raymond; a step daughter, Sr. Pauline Gamache of Winooski, VT; a step son, George Gamache of Meredith; 8 grandchildre; several great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Ray of Hunt Town, AK; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by son, Kenneth Ball, and a daughter, Barbara Clements.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday November 4, 2002 in St. George Church, 517 Pine St.
Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
