Anna R. Kelly, 89, of Manchester died March 12, 2017 at Villa Crest Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester, NH on December 6, 1927, she was the daughter of Charles F. and Cordelia (Martel) Laflamme. She was educated in the local parochial school system and graduated from St. Marie High School.
Prior to retirement, she had been the Section 8 Director for the Manchester Housing Authority for 21 years.
She had been a member of the St. Anne Ladies Guild of St. Joseph Cathedral for many years. Also, she enjoyed playing cards, walking and bowling. Her love of history and exploration inspired her to travel the world, visiting over 33 different countries. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose family was everything to her.
She is survived by her children, James Kelly and wife Nina of Auburn, NH, Nancy Kelly of Concord, CA, Kathleen Hanlon and husband Mitchell of Auburn, NH, Brian Kelly and husband Chris Jacobs of Newport, NH; her grandchildren, James (and his wife Lynn), Jonathan Kelly, Catherine Perkins (and her husband Kyle), Justin and Kendra Hanlon; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Victoria, and Alexandra Kelly, and Claudia, Anna, and Owen Perkins; her loving companion of 22 years, Roger Lessard of Manchester, NH. She was predeceased by her former husband, James M. Kelly in 2005, her two brothers, Paul Laflamme and Dr. Charles Laflamme, and her sister, Marie Laflamme.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Committal prayers followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
