Anna R. Lydon

Anna R. Lydon, 95, lifelong resident of Manchester died November 23rd, 2016 after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on June 15th, 1921, she was the daughter of William and Nora (Early) Lydon and was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Designer Originals, formerly Manchester Hosiery Company, for many years.
Anna enjoyed shopping, spending time with family and friends, and was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.
Her family would like to thank the entire staff at Hanover Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful and compassionate care they offered Anna during her stay there.
She was predeceased by her siblings William Lydon, Mary Lydon, Agnes Lydon, John Lydon, and Patricia Zorawowicz.
Family members include her sister, Ruth Byrne of Manchester; many nephews and nieces—especially her two nieces Kathleen Blanchette and Colleen Byrne Lang who gave much of their time and love; cousins, great nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
