Anna L. (Dionne) Vaillancourt, 81, of Port St. Lucie, FL died January 12, 2005 at her residence after a sudden illness.
Born in St. Venant, Quebec on March 24, 1923, she was the daughter of Ludger and Lea (Viens) Dionne. She lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Port St. Lucie two years ago.
She worked for the NH Division of Transportation for many years. She also provided home care for the elderly through Child & Family Services in Manchester for many years.
Mrs. Vaillancourt was a former president of Les Coeurs Joyeux. She was also a member of the Sodality of St. Anne at St. Marie Church and the Columbiettes.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Vaillancourt in 1997, and by a son, Alfred B. Vaillancourt in 2004.
The family includes four children, Cecile Vachon of Merrimack, Marcel Vaillancourt and Jean Guy Vaillancourt both of Manchester and Francine Lamarre of Port St. Lucie, FL; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; a brother, Florian Dionne of Sherbrooke, Quebec; a sister, Dora Vachon of East Hereford, Quebec; cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday January 18, 2005 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
