Anne M. Evans

Anne M. (Proulx) Evans, 55, of Manchester died November 11, 2001 in her residence after a sudden illness.

Born in Franklin on September 21, 1946, she was the daughter of Lucien and Alice (Leroux) Proulx. She grew up in Franklin, then lived many years in Manchester.

Mrs. Evans had owned her own cleaning business and was also a hairdresser for many years. Along with her husband, she co-owned A & T Distributors in Manchester.

The family includes her husband of 33 years, Thomas J. Evans of Manchester; a son, Patrick T. Evans of Block Island, RI; a daughter, Kathleen A. Evans of Manchester; two brothers, Robert Proulx and Thomas Proulx both of Franklin; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were November 14, 2001 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated November 15, 2001 in St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
