Anne Marie Soucy

July 25, 1943 — March 10, 2026

With love and faith in God’s promise of eternal life, we share that Anne Marie Soucy passed peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a long and courageous battle with illness. She was born on July 25, 1943, in Goffstown, New Hampshire, to Roch and Alice Chapdelaine.

Anne’s Catholic faith was at the heart of her life. She loved the Church and believed deeply in sharing her faith with others. She spent time teaching religion classes to Catholic school children, helping guide young students as they learned about God. Her faith shaped the way she lived each day and the kindness she showed to those around her.

Anne graduated from Saint Anthony High School and worked in accounting at Sears, later providing accounting services for other companies and individuals. She approached her work with dedication and care.

In addition to her work, Anne enjoyed gardening, quilting, and arranging flowers. She also created a small business called “Thoughtful Things,” where she sold new and gently used baby and maternity clothing. She especially loved cooking, baking, sewing, and doing crafts, often sharing those talents with her family and loved ones.

Anne was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family was the greatest joy of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Soucy, and her children Robert Soucy Jr. and Karen Soucy; Mark and Linda Soucy; Monique St. Laurent and Joe Supry; Michele and Michael Nickerson; Chris Soucy and Christy Nevius; and Daniel and Carey Soucy.

During the years when her husband was serving in the military and often away for months at a time, Anne lovingly raised their six children while their family was stationed in many parts of the United States. Through it all, she kept their home running with incredible strength, patience, and devotion, creating a home filled with love, faith, and stability for her family.

She was a proud grandmother to Chase Soucy and Ava Soucy; Mark Soucy Jr. and Kimberly Soucy; Joshua St. Laurent, Connor St. Laurent, Zachary St. Laurent, and Mercedes St. Laurent; Brittany Caouette, Holly Monty, Chelsea Mette, Kalen Nickerson, Egan Nickerson, and Taylor Ruzbarsky; and Thea Soucy and Van Soucy.

She was blessed with many great-grandchildren: Elora Soucy, Cole St. Laurent, Dallas Caouette, Avery Caouette, Addilynn Monty, August Monty, Cienna Mette, Julia Mette, Stella Mette, Noah Mette, Sophia Mette, Tucker Nickerson, Everett Nickerson, Jaycee Nickerson, and Vivian Nickerson.

Anne is also survived by her siblings Rita Wood, Richard Chapdelaine, Donald Chapdelaine, and Roland Chapdelaine.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Roch and Alice Chapdelaine, and her siblings Roger Chapdelaine, Claire Chapdelaine, Gerard Chapdelaine, Lucille Roy, Henri Chapdelaine, Paul Chapdelaine, and Maurice Chapdelaine.

Visitation will be held at Lambert Funeral Home in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Monday, March 30, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on April 1 at St. Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m., officiated by Fr. Richard Dion, followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Flowers may be sent to Lambert Funeral Home in Manchester.

Anne will be remembered for her deep faith, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her family and all who knew her.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”— Psalm 23:6
