Annette D. Barton

She was born in Marlborough, NH February 3, 1926 and was the daughter of Oscar and Eva (Lauber) Barton. She lived in Claremont for many years before moving to Manchester several years ago.

She graduated from Keene Nursing School, Keene NH and was a nurse for various doctors in the Keene and Newport area. Eventually she became the School Nurse for the Claremont School System where she was employed for 30 years.

She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed spending time at her home on the lake, picking strawberries and raising her family. She and her husband enjoyed international travel and in their retirement they were snowbirds living in Punta Gorda Fl.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert D. Barton and leaves a son, Timothy D. Barton of Manchester; two granddaughters, Heather Barton, Katherine Eagen and her husband, Scott Eagen, all of Manchester; two great grandsons, Bennett Eagen and Colin Eagen, both of Manchester.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Catherine Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
