Annette Rita Marineau, 97, of Manchester passed away April 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Manchester, NH in March 1925, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lina (Poulin) Desruisseaux. She graduated from Ste. Marie High School where she was an honor student and met her husband, Ben, whom she married in 1947 and they enjoyed 74 years of marriage and family life.

Annette was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Marineau in 2021. The loving mother of nine, she is survived by six daughters, Lillian and friend Mohamed of Hooksett, Claire Montminy and husband Gerald of Goffstown, Jeanne Pittman and husband William of Naples FL, Louise Sousa and husband Thom of Goffstown, Rachel Veilleux and husband Richard of Salem and Ann Demencuk of Manchester; three sons, Phillip Marineau and wife Susan of Londonderry, Paul Marineau and wife Elsa of Coral Springs, FL and Arthur Marineau of Falls Church, VA. She was "Memere" to 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Irene Archambault and Sr. Juliette Desruisseaux and two brothers, Louis Romeo Desruisseaux and Paul Desruisseaux.

Annette was all about service. She was an Associate of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary and a past secretary and member of St Pius X Secular Institute. She was a longtime active communicant of Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester and a Mercy Meals volunteer there.

Annette was warm, loving and welcoming to all. She wrapped love around everyone. She made hundreds of quilts and blankets for her family and families served by "Our Place", a Catholic Charities Organization. In her later years, Annette enjoyed baking, playing bingo and card games.

The family would like to thank the staff at Windham Terrace for their wonderful care over the past 27 months.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday (5/2) from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. The family requests that masks be worn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
