Anselme L. Hebert, 89, of “A” Street, died December 4, 2022 at home from complications of a long illness surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Paquetteville, P. Quebec, Canada on December 19, 1932, the son of the late Philias Hebert and the late Alberta (Roy) Hebert.  He married the love of his life, Diana Montminy, in 1957 and they moved to Manchester where they were residents until their deaths.

Mr. Hebert had a huge heart and loved to help people.  When not working, in his spare time he could be found fixing cars at his home for his family, friends, and neighbors.  He loved spending time with his family and quite often would tease family and friends in a playful manner just to get a laugh with them.  He will be remembered as a kind, loving, stubborn and hard working man.

He is predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Diana Montminy in 2006; 3 brothers, Fernand Hebert, Urbain Hebert and Patrice Hebert.  He is survived by his 3 children, a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Battistelli & her husband Jay of Goffstown, a son, Mr. Robert Hebert of Manchester; a daughter Mrs. Jeannine Cosimati & her husband Ira of Center Ossipee; 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Battistelli of Goffstown; Joseph Cosimati of Center Ossipee; Karissa Petit of Pulaski, TN; 3 great-grandchildren, Brantley, Aries, and Everleigh O’Dell of Pulaski, TN; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerard Hebert & his wife Gaetane of Colebrook; a sister Therese Rougeau of Colebrook; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

SERVICES: There will be no calling hours at the request of Mr. Hebert.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday December 10th at Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester followed immediately by a committal service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
