He was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 26, 1937 to Cosmo and Gabriella (LaPosta) DiTore. He lived in Bedford, MA many years before moving to Bedford, NH nine years ago.
He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for 11 years.
Mr. DiTore worked as an architect for many years, including over 20 years as a corporate architect with Dunkin Donuts Incorporated.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford.
The family includes is wife of 53 years, Margaret (Corrigan) DiTore of Bedford, three children, Michael DiTore and his wife, Janine, of Arlington, MA, Maria Elliott and her husband, Bruce, of Hampstead, and Angela Winter and her husband, Stephen, of Bedford, MA; six grandchildren, Victoria, Brian, Olivia, Allison, Harry, and Jaime; a sister, Virginia DeLuca and her husband, Nicholas, of Beacon, NY; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial will be later in the spring at Bedford Center Cemetery in Bedford.
