Anthony (Tony) L. Spencer, 45, of Bedford, NH, died unexpectedly on September 7, 2021.
Born in Binghamton, NY on December 22, 1975, he was the son of Michael and Rosalie (Zevan) Spencer. He was a graduate of Seton Catholic Central High School, in Binghamton, NY, earned his BS in Biology from Boston College, and his MA in Computer Science from Pace University. He was employed as a software sales engineer with VMware for many years.
Nothing meant more to Tony than his wife, Rocio and two daughters, Valentina and Gabriela. He loved his family and committed himself to them each day, coaching their youth basketball teams, playing with them or watching movies and taking trips with them locally and abroad. Tony was so proud of his family and everything they did together. He also loved to laugh and make others laugh, even at one point spending time as a stand-up comedian in the Boston area. Tony was an avid reader, life-long learner and held himself to a high standard in everything he did. He was very giving and an extremely good listener, who made an instant connection with everyone he met. He will be remembered as a devoted, loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend.
Family includes his wife of 13 years, Rocio (Gomez) Spencer of Bedford, NH; two daughters, Valentina and Gabriela Spencer of Bedford, NH; his parents, Michael and Rosalie Spencer of Binghamton, NY; three sisters, Suzanne Spencer of Wayland, MA, Victoria Martino of Binghamton, NY, and Leanne Spencer of Binghamton, NY; one brother, Steven Spencer and wife Karen of Binghamton, NY; and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford, NH 03110. Burial to follow in Bedford, NH Town Cemetery.
