Antoinette Asselin

She was born in St. Pie de Guire, Quebec, on January 25, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Forcier) Parenteau. She had resided in Chicopee, MA for most of her life until she moved to Manchester in 2004 to be with her family.

She was previously employed with Asinof Manufacturing and Eastern Etching Manufacturing - both located in Chicopee, MA.

Antoinette's first love was for her family and then came her love for music and dancing.

Her husband Roland Asselin died in 1971.

Family includes her daughter, Flore (Asselin) Fitzgerald and son-in-law, Eugene Fitzgerald, Sr.; two grandchildren, Anne Marie Pepe and Dr. Eugene Fitzgerald, Jr.; three great-grandchildren.

The funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family.
