Antoinette R. Maurier

Antoinette R. Maurier, 89, of Manchester, died July 14, 2008, at Villa Crest Nursing Home where she received loving care for 3.5 years.

She was born in Manchester, June 27, 1919 to Etienne and Olida (Hudon) Hebert. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

Mrs. Maurier was a communicant of St. Anne-St. Augustin Church and belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis and the Sodality of St. Anne. She was also a member of the Octomates Social Group. She enjoyed her winter trips to various places in Florida.

She was a kind and loving mother who brought much laughter to her family, loved playing card games with them and enjoyed watching the Red Sox.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Laurent M. Maurier, in 2007. In addition she was predeceased by all of her eight brothers and sisters. She leaves a daughter, Sr. Pauline Maurier, CSC of Manchester; four sons, Richard Maurier and his wife, Louise, Robert Maurier, Maurice Maurier, all of Manchester, and Roger Maurier and his wife, Irene, of Hooksett; two grandchildren, Adele and Stephen Maurier; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday, July 17, 2008 at St. Anne-St. Augustin Church. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
