Antoinette E. Powers

She was born in Reeds Ferry, NH on October 29, 1927, the daughter of Arthur and Angeline (Halle) Philibert.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and taking care of others. She was a volunteer at St. Teresa Manor and loved animals. Above all else, she always loved life and lived it to its fullest, cherishing the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Her husband John E. Powers died in 1989.

Family members include her children, Rosalind Pidgeon and her husband Patrick of Dunbarton, Linda Freitas and her husband John of Enfield, CT, Perry Powers of Manchester, Gary Powers of Hampton, Nancy Nichols and her husband Leigh of Foxboro, MA, John Powers and wife Stacy of Manchester, Deborah Miller and husband Timothy of Dunstable, Marsha Willey and husband Bruce of Auburn; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeannette Vigneault of Manchester; one brother, Paul Philibert and wife Beverly of Wentworth, NH; nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, December 17, 2010 in the Chapel of St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
